To support NGO and CSO participation in and engagement with the Commission, the VNGOC has prepared a detailed Guide with information about the Commission and how it operates; information about NGO participation in the Commission and suggestions on how they can engage most effectively with its work (even if they cannot be present in Vienna); practical information; useful links and contacts.

NGO Briefing

On Thursday, 14 March the VNGOC together with the UNODC Civil Society Team held an NGO Briefing to give information on upcoming events, important information surrounding the CND and contact information for the VNGOC team.

Opening Remarks Ministerial Segment 2019

Jamie Bridge as the Co-Chair of the Civil Society Task Force made opening remarks at the ceremonial opening of the Ministerial Segment describing the work of the Task Force throughout the year and highlighting the importance of civil society and affected populations in addressing and countering the world drug problem. He also drew attention to the Conference Room Paper No. 7, prepared by the CSTF and submitted by Switzerland on the views of civil society for drug policies beyond 2019.
