The second webinar in our series on the World Drug Report took place on July 27th 2020 and was held in English. Watch the recording and take a look at the presentations.

The webinar featured a presentation of the World Drug Report by Thomas Pietschmann (UNODC Research Section), one of the authors of the report. The civil society perspective was given by George Ochieng Odalo (Slum Child Foundation Kenya) and focused on how they use the data of the World Drug Report in their daily work and what kind of challenges they face.

The two presentations were followed by an open Q&A session, were a range of questions was raised, such as how NGOs can contribute to the report, how COVID-19 may effect the various drug markets and overall drug use, and how it would be possible to monitor the lack of access to pain medicines.
