The International Narcotics Control Board (INCB) invited civil society organisations to share their views collaboration in international drug control
The INCB Board invited, through the Vienna NGO Committee on Drugs, civil society representatives to meet with the Board during its 143rd session. The 143rd session of the Board took place from 20 to 30 May 2025. Due to the United Nations Secretariat regular budget liquidity crisis, the duration of
the Board’s session was reduced and in view of the limited time available as well as interpretation constraints, the online meeting of the Board with NGOs on 22 May 2025 was unfortunately limited to 30 minutes, comprising six brief interventions by NGOs. To ensure that the Board was provided with meaningful NGO perspectives, NGOs were invited to provide written submissions to supplement the brief interventions.
The following oral interventions were delivered during the meeting:
- ARTM – ASSOCIACAO REABILITACAO TOXICODEPENDENTES DE MACAU, Wing Ng Ki
- Eurasian Harm Reduction Association (EHRA), Eliza Kurcevič
- FUNDACION FUTURO INTERESPECIE-FUTURO COCA, CARMEN POSADA MONROY
- International Consortium of Universities for Drug Demand Reduction (ICUDDR), Laurie Krom, EdD
- Turkish Green Crescent Society, Sedef Ercetin Gencosmanoglu
- Youth RISE / Kosmicare, Teresa Maria Gagean de Almeida e Castro
