On 26 June 2025, the Commission on Narcotic Drugs (CND) held a special event in Vienna to mark the launch of the 2025 World Drug Report and the commemoration of the World Drug Day, themed “The evidence is clear: invest in prevention.” The event brought together Member States, UN agencies, and civil society to reflect on global drug trends and share best practices.
The VNGOC chair, delivered short remarks as part of the panel discussion. In addition three civil society representatives had the opportunity to intervene from the the floor.
